Resume normal life, but wear black badges, hoist black flags : JRL tells people | KNO

Srinagar, May 8 (KNO) : The JRL urged the people to resume their normal business from May 9, across Kashmir. In a statement issued here, the JRL and directed the people to of all walks of life that include employees, lawyers, teaches, traders and transporters to fix black badges on their arms and black flags atop houses, shops and vehicles to show anger and protest against the bloodshed and innocent killings across Kashmir.

The JRL also urged the Imams of all the mosques, shrines and Imam Baras to offer funeral prayers in absentia for the martyrs of Shopian and Srinagar after Friday (May 11) congregational prayers and to read and pass the JRL resolution. They said further program will be issued after thorough consultations. Meanwhile, the JRL (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik while strongly condemning the unfortunate incident at Narbal in which a young tourist from Chenai was hit with a stone who later died and a local lady who was injured said that some elements are trying to defame the sacred movement of Kashmir and project a wrong picture of the same before the world community by doing such acts.
